It is with great sadness that we have had to put our CONNECTS initiative on hold given the COVID crisis and the affects on our business levels and profitability. Once we get back to business at hand, Millennium Restaurant Group will re-invent and reinvigorate our initiative and welcome applications for consideration. Thank you kindly for the understanding from our local non-profits and our community members!
Millennium Restaurants GIVE
Millennium Restaurant Group has a long standing tradition of serving our community with passion and promise. MRG is proud to support a wide variety of non-profit organizations in Kalamazoo and surrounding counties. "Over the years," says Millennium Managing Partner Bob Lewis, "our enterprise has a history of being ready, willing and able to support our communities and their people in helping them to thrive, progress and prosper."
Millennium Restaurant Group is proud to introduce our newest community initiative, “Millennium Connects.” Millennium Connects will take place every Monday for supporters, benefactors and members of selected non-profits, along with the general public, to be able to donate the cost of their Millennium Rewards, “Millennium Monday” discount, to the organization that will be highlighted each month. All 501(c)(3) organizations in Kalamazoo and surrounding counties are eligible to take part in the monthly spotlight program through our applications process where we will seek information about your organization's history, mission, and ongoing goals and projects. The application can be accessed through the MRGives tab on our website.
“‘Millennium Connects’ is not limited to a certain kind of non-profit”, added Shelly Pastor, a Managing Partner of Millennium Restaurant Group. "Our vibrant community hosts a wide variety of organizations in need of funds to pursue their missions, be they educational, social justice, health and welfare, entrepreneurial or environmental. All seek to improve our quality of life and inspire our citizens."
The Millennium Restaurant Group's "Millennium Connects" committee will review the applications and will make selections per quarter, choosing up to two recipients per month. Chosen non-profits will be notified by email 60 days prior to allow for their planning purposes and collaborative promotion.
Here's how it will work:
The "Millennium Connects" opportunity will be available on all Mondays at these Millennium locations: Martell's, Central City Tap House, Fieldstone Grill, The Union, Centre City Tap House, Cove Lakeside Bistro, 600 Kitchen and Bar, and Sprinkle Road Tap House. The Wine Loft, located in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo, will take part on Wednesdays of each month. On a non-profit's chosen Monday (or Wednesday), its supporters will select any of the Millennium locations and enjoy lunch or dinner. Those already with a Millennium Rewards card will be able to donate the cost of the reward to the designated non-profit. Those without a rewards card can easily obtain one at their table.
